My husband and I were at the store attempting to ship a freight object. He had called ahead the day before to get a price quote and discuss the parameters of shipping a boat engine using their freight services. After following the guidelines we arrived at the store to find it is in a shopping center that barely has enough room for us to pull our truck and trailer thru. We park outback and walk to the front. Inside the manager, Tammy, is frantically helping customers. She told a customer that she was unable to do his printing until she had completed the 200 invitations and reply cards that must be completed today. The customer was fine with it, paid and left to return and inquire the pricing. He had a 64 page document and requested 20 copies of it-- it was on a disc that was broken down into 4 files. It took over five minutes for them to come to an understanding that it wasn't 64 total pages but 64 pages with 20 copies. The manager then come to us and asks how she can help us and we told her that we were shipping a boat engine for freight ground shipping. She said she would have to check to see if there were any available pick-up today but she thought they were done until Monday, remember we called ahead yesterday to confirm we would be arriving this afternoon. After the confirmation we were told the price was $60 more than we were quoted. My husband inquired why and they said it was $46.31 for liftgate services at pickup and delivery. In a very collected tone we asked why we needed pick up liftgate services and she snapped back "do you see a dock here?" And then asked if we wanted to proceed with the transaction. We confirmed we did but we're still questioning the drastic price difference from yesterday to today. After a prolonged, and inappropriate, "I can't do anything about it unless you can get three buddies here to help lift it into the tractor when they arrive tonight". We actually had to laugh at this suggestion because it's a 300lb engine shrink wrapped to a pallet. If it fell or someone dropped it, what a HUGE LIABILITY! Tammy called the lady from yesterday, Rebecca who gave us the quote, and was told that she did not give us the liftgate in the quote. Tammy said that because we weren't quoted it, and she really isn't allowed to do it, but took off the pick up liftgate. My husband thanked her and said that he really just didn't understand the liftgate at pickup. She then got very agitated and said "are we going to keep bickering or am I processing this?" I finally stepped and said please just process this so we could leave, the whole situation is absurd. She processed and we said nothing more. Went out back and asked where to put the engine considering it wouldn't fit inside and pick-up wasn't for another 3-4 hours. They said to just leave it by the back door. Chris and Josh, the two "new" employees were very helpful and provided excellent customer service. However, Tammy was not what ANY manager should EVER behave. My husband went back in to get the franchise number or corporate number. While in there he simply asked for the number and was once again faced with the poor customer service. I am totally appalled at the services provided and we will be in contact with the franchise owner and higher is needed. I'd recommend going for basic online services but otherwise, DO NOT GO FOR FREIGHT SERVICES!
I've been to this specific store half a dozen times over the span of two years and every time I've been treated so well I leave puzzled. Serious, It's like that. They've printed labels and packing sheets and made headache returns and ship outs a breeze. I've never had to wait long for service and I appreciate the friendliness and how helpful the staff is.
Outstanding! The Manager of the store, Tammy, was so very helpful and the young man who checked us out on a Saturday was also very helpful.
This store has no accountability. I shipped a broken HTC Vive headset back to the manufacturer and the guy checking it in convinced me I didnt need insurance as it was already broken. I changed my ticket and paid to ship it. Low and behold it came up missing from the packaging. After being lied to by the manager that they were doing something, all that I heard were crickets. They haven't done anything and I am now out of a $799 virtual reality headset. They have not reimbursed me for 1 penny after losing my package. Crooks.
Thank you for solving My problem with a school project!

LOL... This is the first time on my whole life that I have to pay for some tape. I brought my pre-paid package and I asked for some tape to close it and the first thing that this lady told me is that she has to charge one quarter for it. This is the best way to lose a customer. Thank you ups.
